8 Best Sig Sauer P938 IWB Holsters | Sig P938 Holster

We tried out several different Sig Sauer P938 IWB holsters and came up with this list of the 8 best Sig Sauer P938 IWB holsters. We prefer inside the waistband (IWB) holsters because they hold your gun securely, are easily concealable and highly comfortable.

The Sig Sauer P938 is a great concealed carry weapon. However, with a higher than average MSRP price tag, it may discourage some people from making that purchase. It’s well worth it in our opinion, though. The Sig Sauer P938 comes in several different styles, but they’re all very similar besides the finish.

If you have a Sig Sauer P938 and are in need of a IWB holster, we recommend the first holster on this list. It’s the Sig Sauer P938 Holster HQ Super Light Weight | IWB Kydex Concealed Carry Holster| Premium Custom Fit | In the Waistband Handgun Concealment | Compact Carbon Fiber look for Left or Right and, while it’s not the cheapest, this is a one-time investment that you’ll use often. You have spent hundreds of dollars on your gun, so why would you carry it with a cheap holster? It’s an extremely light, durable and highly concealable holster that you won’t regret wearing daily.

When you’re choosing the best holster for you, you’ll need to consider a couple things. First is the durability. It should last you years of service and be able to withstand wear and tear. Next is the comfort. You should have great comfort with an inside the waistband holster. You should be able to do day to day activity and not feel the holster and forget you’re wearing it until it needs to be worn.

That’s the end of our list. Did we miss any conceal carry IWB holsters for the Sig Sauer P938? If so, please leave a comment below and we’ll check it out!

Did you test the alien gear holster?

      Hello Daniel,

Unfortunately, we did not get the opportunity to test their holsters ourselves, but we have friends who own them for other handguns. They like them. Alien Gear does not currently have their Sig P938 holster on Amazon which means you would have to purchase them from their website. With that being said, their might be a lead time for them to build them. I recommend purchasing a holster on Amazon since it will be shipped out typically within a day or two.

      Thank you,
      Holster HQ

how about a IWB holster for a p938 with a viridian laser

Thanks for the list. I have just purchased my first carry weapon and it is the 938, so I am trying to find a good starting holster. Your list is a great start.

My question, none of the holsters on the list have a thumb break, is there a reason? I have to move around a lot and prefer a thumb break to ensure the weapon doesn’t drop, but don’t want it so tight it pulls the holster with it when I need it.

      Hello Louis,

To answer your question, a majority of these holsters have a high enough retention that a thumb break isn’t necessary. Some of the holsters on this list have an adjustable retention, so you can tighten or loosen it if needed. For the first holster on the list (Sig Sauer P938 Kydex IWB Holster), I just held the holster with the gun inside (unloaded) and put it upside down and moved it up and down. The P938 stayed in place without falling out, and I have it at a medium retention rate.

If you’re set on a thumb break, you could take a look at these leather holsters:
